MEETINGS
Basketry SA, Mile End
The first meeting of the 2024 year will be at the Fullarton Park Community Centre gardens on Sunday 28 January. Meetings are held from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm on the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Sunday of each month from February to December (excluding the 4th Sunday in December) at the Hand Spinners & Weavers Guild Hall,196 South Road, Mile End, South Australia (on the corner of South Road and Lurline Street just south of Henley Beach Road). We meet at the back of the hall. Enter the workroom through the rear door from the car park off Lurline Street.
Bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee is available.

Other basketry groups operate throughout South Australia. ​

Hills Basket Cases: 1st Tuesday of each month from 11am-3pm. Meetings are cancelled if the forecast temperature is above 35ËšC, or there is a total fire ban.

Yorkes Basket Cases: Quarterly meetings.

South Coast Basket Cases: 1st Saturday of each month from 10am onwards.

Southern Vales Basket Cases: 2nd Saturday and 4th Wednesday of each month from 10am-3pm.

Riverbank Basketmakers: 1st Saturday of each month from 10 am at the Spinners & Weavers Guild, Murray Bridge.

Burra Basketeers: Monthly on a Thursday from 2pm at the Burra Library

All members and new prospective members are welcome to attend meetings. Bring some weaving to work on. If you are a beginner just come to watch and learn. There are always some materials available and someone who is eager to help you get started.
